CHANGES FOR 2014:
- Brand new model.
After the successful introduction of the first generation Transit Connect, Ford is doubling down by bringing a new version of the Connect and a brand new full size Transit to replace the E-Series to the North American market. The new Connect brings style to the small commercial van segment, available in both cargo and passenger wagon body styles, and in two wheelbase lengths.
Replacing the 2.0L Duratec four-cylinder engine and four-speed automatic transmission are a new duo of four-pots - a 2.5L DOHC four-cylinder and a 1.6L EcoBoost four-cylinder - available with a new six-speed automatic transmission.
Features will be announced closer to launch in fall 2013.
